Ingredients

  • ½ cup Monin Sweetened Iced Coffee Concentrate or strong cold brew
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar or preferred sweetener, optional
  • 2 tablespoons Warm Water to dissolve sugar
  • ½ to 1 cup Chilled Water adjust for strength
  • ⅓ to ½ cup Milk whole, skim, almond, oat, or soy
  • 1 cup Ice crushed or cubes

Equipment

  • Tall glass
  • Measuring Cup
  • Spoon or stir stick
  • Kettle
  • Straw (optional)

Method

  1. Pour ½ cup of Monin Sweetened Iced Coffee Concentrate (or your strong cold brew) into a tall glass. This is your flavorful base.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar (or your preferred sweetener) to the glass. Pour in about 2 tablespoons of warm water and stir until the sugar is fully dissolved. This keeps the drink smooth with no gritty bits.
  3. Pour in ½ to 1 cup of chilled water, depending on how strong you like your coffee. Give it another good stir so everything blends.
  4. Measure ⅓ to ½ cup of milk—any kind you like (whole, skim, almond, oat, or soy)—and pour it into the glass. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Fill the glass all the way to the top with ice. Crushed ice makes it lighter, while big cubes keep it bold.
  6. Give the drink one final stir, pop in a straw if you like, and enjoy your smooth, sweet homemade First Watch iced coffee.
